SANDY AQUILA LMT lives in Omaha, Nebraska. In 2001 she founded and currently directs the 7,000 sq. ft OM Center (Omaha Healing Arts Center) in Omaha Old Market. She has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, China and India working with and studying holistic healing methods. Along with massage, her extra studies have included Cranial-sacral Therapy, acupressure, needless electric acupuncture, Ortho-bionomy, 5 element body-reading, Zero Balancing, nutrition, herbology, NLP, and intuitive BodyMind healing therapies. Sandy has been a guest teacher at The University of Nebraska at Omaha for Stress Management classes. She has co-written and presented educational programs about massage therapy on Cable television, taught healing and massage classes at The BodyMind Institute, was the editor of The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) newsletter for the Nebraska chapter and a member of The Healing Arts Council, which promotes unique and educational programs in the Omaha area. She has been a member of the AMTA for 28 years. In her current bodywork practice she uses body-mind techniques that include Crainosacral Therapy, Acupressure, Jorehi, Ortho-bionomy, NLP and intuitive arts.
